I passionately believe in people's natural capacity to achieve healing and wholeness with the right care and support. I see each person as a unique individual with their own story. Every person has complex layers and is so much more than any cookie cutter diagnosis. I do not solely focus on a client's symptoms, but rather see the client as a whole with all of their strengths and attributes as well as their lies and fears which have resulted from wounding over the years.

I utilize an integrative approach to psychotherapy in which, as I get to know my client, I will customize my treatment plan to best suit each client’s needs and goals. I will offer tools and insight and will go at a pace with which my client is comfortable and feels safe.

Treatment Issues:

  • Trauma/PTSD

  • Relationships

  • Dissociative Disorders

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief and Loss

Treatment Approach:

I have specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Enhanced Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (for Eating Disorders), and Dissociative Identity Therapy. I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic processes.

I hold a Christian worldview which guides my values, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. However, I recognize and respect that you may not share all or any of my beliefs or values. Religion and spirituality are important facets of an individual’s personal and cultural identity, which can be sources of pain as well as healing. It is of utmost importance to me that therapy is a safe space where we show mutual respect for a diversity of beliefs, opinions, and practices. This is part of creating trust and respect in the therapeutic relationship and finding the skills and tools that work best for you.

Interventions that incorporate religious beliefs, values, and practices can play as large or small a role in our work together as your wish it to. As with anything we do in therapy, you have the right to ask questions, state what you do and do not want, and decide what works best for you
